I feel that my thighs are bigger after running/jogging!! I've taken tummytrim b4 and it wrks pretty well for me. Reduction of sugar intake really work wonders!I lost 3kgs for resisting sweetened beverages in a couple of mths!
actually my bf who's a sports and health freak told me before that tummys can never be flatten. it's kinda sad but it seems like the more u do sit ups, it does flatten ur tummy but in the long run, the circumference of ur tummy will actually increase cos it builds muscles at that area. i think the only way will be to go for those tummyslim packages.
yes,my teacher told me this too...no form of exercise can actually slim down a specific area...so even if you lose weight after doing sit up,the fats might be not be from your tummy...but one thing for sure is tt muscles will be built on your tummy...which makes it look even bigger than before...
any girls tried Xando Tummy Tablets?sounds pretty good..flat tummy in 8days..recently,i put on 3 kg..esp in my tummy area, want to slim down..hmm...would it be useful?
This may sound silly. For me, I just lie flat on my bed to sleep everynight. A bit uncomfortable but it helps to flatten the tummy. (for me la).. you gals can try and see. Don't blame me if the breast also flatten. hahah
Don't blame me if the breast also flatten. hahahHAHA!! i think it'll flatten also=/Anw, i know when i was much younger i have a bulging tummy. But after like weeks of situps everynight before bed, i managed to get a much much flatter tummy.
For my fat tummy, i do navel candling ( also call tummy candling ) which recommended by my therapist while i was having my slimming massage session, it helps in detoxifying as well as slim down my fat tummy, quite effective & works well on me.
For my fat tummy, i do navel candling ( also call tummy candling ) which recommended by my therapist while i was having my slimming massage session, it helps in detoxifying as well as slim down my fat tummy, quite effective & works well on me. I been wanting to do navel candling but it isnt common here and the salon that offers me this is not doing ear candling well so I think they will be equally lousy with naval candling. Where did u do yr navel candling? Can share?
I think that a strong tummy is more important than a flat tummy. So I will always train my abs even when I have some fat underneath.Better have tight and strong mid section that loose fat hanging around... One easy way to avoid the bulging tummy is to avoid eating stuff that causes gas in your intestines. Sometimes we think its fat but it is gas... So avoid eating raw fruit and vegetable after 6, carbonated beverages is a no no, and legumes and cabbage should be avoided the days you want to show some skin... Eat yogurt that helps your intestines work better, and reduce gas.
for a cheat.. get a tan if u seriously need show skin on the beach.. coz when u are lil tanned.. ur tummy tend to slow smaller...fast tips to get a smaller tum1) avoid fizzy and sweet drinks2) do not eat too much potatoes.. yam.. coz they are very high in starch.. will make u bloat..3) do not drink when u hav a meal, take small sips of water.4) try sucking in ur breath.. its works,, and a few girls i noe do the same... its quite impossible to hav a completely flat tummy.. unless u are a trainer urself.. even dancers have flabby tummies.actually most of us hav a slight bigger tummy by midday coz of the food we eat...do u realise ur tummy is flatter in the morning..when we eat our stomach expands.. thus ur tummy gets bigger.. and if u bloat u wil be bigger there
I been wanting to do navel candling but it isnt common here and the salon that offers me this is not doing ear candling well so I think they will be equally lousy with naval candling. Where did u do yr navel candling? Can share?Hi dandelion,Ya, navel candling isn't common here, glad that the salon i went have almost all the services i want & need, i tried their ear candling too, very relaxing n comfortable. As for the navel candling, they will do drainning for you while the navel candle is on, you will feel very warm sensation, after this treatment therapist will give you a thermal wrapping for the tummy, they will cut & show you the navel candle inside was damp dirty... btw one thing for sure, i feel my tummy so much lighten, not so much 'air ' le.I can pm you if you like to try out. Keep well !

how much is e navel candling? where is e place? question,I done it at $68 per treatment ( plus the tummy thermal wrap ), is on promotion i think. I pm you for the contact.
Wow.. everyone's wanting to know details. Girl, can you let me know the details too? The thought of detoxifying my stomach makes me happy!Oh ya.. BTW i read from somewhere that it is not a very good thing to lie on ur stomach when u sleep as it suppresses the intestines which affects movement activities in the intestines.
I am interested in knowing where to do the acupuncture..

Do crunches and side crunches helps.
i have tummy... not fats at stomach area.. actually is more called love handles.. its more to the lower abs
I've flabs between my stomach and lower part of the breast and it is obviously showing when I sit (bigger than my tummy). Does anyone knows the cause and how to get rid of it?did u do alot of crunches etc last time????Cos my trainer said female no nid to do too much or do wrongly will get flabs in this area..
yes, and i have been drinking ginger tea to reduce the air and aid in digestion. The weather is so cold now. beta take something to warm the body. But the ginger tea i am taking is sweet (instant) anyone knows how to make own ginger tea?
slimming thighs and tummy really not easy, takes alot of hardwork..for tummy, nothing but do alot of crunches...if say u want to tone ur lower body, u can take the sports council aBT class, the whole 1 hr is all of toning up e tummy, thighs and bottom...i am taking it also and in some way i guess it did help me abit...=)
To slim down tummy, I taught many friends to do this:When you are eating while sitting, do not cross your legs... (Dunno y, but I guess its for your food to flow smoothly to digest bah)My friends says it does help!
I think yoga helps too..My yoga instructor taught us some poses to slim down and flatten our tummy.. but must be really "on" one lor.. like have to do for dunno how many times a day everyday.. I really admire her flat and firm tummy..
Some of the tummy exercises like leg-raise, half sit-ups and another exercise where you have to lift your legs and buttock off the ground. Then, there are some other exercises where you have to crunch your tummy. I remember when I was doing my Yoga, the half sit-ups was very strenous on my tummy.
Yeah.. i don't mean ONLY posing.. its like a whole set of exercise consisting of stretching, breathing techniques, maintaining a certain postures..The thing is, I had already forgotten most of what I was taught.. >.<"What I can remember is the one which u sit on the floor, with both legs straight in front of u.. then cross your right ankle over your left knee, keeping the left leg straight.. then, use your left elbow to "push" your right knee towards your left.. use your right hand to support your body, turn your head to look to the back.. careful not to break your neck.. ^^Then repeat the same thing with the other leg..I think is something like that.. don't know if u gals understand what i'm talking about.. hi podders... i use a slimming gel called BodyLite Thermo-Active Body Shaping Gel... and as the name goes, its those gel tat will burn off ur fats cuz its so HOT! and u can see e results fast too! do check out e following website for more details... it really works!http://www.ecosway.com/ecosway/SuperSelection/workspace/moreInfo/en_US/20507641/main.jspps: i have stock for this... do PM if interested!

Average Rating:
I read the reviews and took a chance because we were getting desperate to find something to help my granddaughter's eczema. The 5 star people did not let me down. This product plus the Burts Bee, Baby Bee cream cleared up a really bad case of eczema on my granddaughter's legs and back. I now use this in my bath and also to shave my legs. I am highly allergic to almost everything and this does not irritate my skin. It really makes it smooth. I am very picky about fragrance and this fragrance is light and calming. I look forward to bath time every night. My granddaughter likes it when we put a couple squirts in under the running water. It makes beautiful bubbles. For those ladies who do not want a baby product showing on their tub. I put the baby wash in a beautiful gold and ivory decorator soap and lotion dispenser pump that is part of a set that includes tissue holder, cup etc. For a child just use a pretty decorator plastic soap dispenser.-- Anonymous on August 27, 2007
Very gentle even on my son's sensitive , exema prone skin. Very nice light smell.-- MaryBeth, Spokane Valley, WA on July 29, 2007
Slimming Gel / Patch QUOTES FROM OTHERS
L'Oreal Perfectslim Patch works -6pcs
quote 1 : i tried the loreal patch $45.90 for 6 patches. not really useful. i use it on my tights, it is not sticky at all. cannot attach to my skin. if can, can just last ahile later will fall off de. sigh..
quote 2: it's not really effect. i stick in onto my tights it'll just came off by itself. i had to use a bandage to hold the patch. it will have some burning sensation on the skin tat is attached to the patch. this will only show temporary results. in the night i use it throughout my sleep. In the morning i went to the toliet prob it's the period of 'detoxing'. the next day never use, the fats come back. cos the usage is 2 times a week on the skin tat you target at. see, it's 6 patches, and i used 2 patches for tights, 1 patch for tummy. used up 3 patches already. one week, used up 1 box. $45.90 fly away. i had brought 3 boxes, lasted for 3 weeks not effective. if people used it on 2 arms, 2 tights, 1 tummy? you'll just left with 1 patch left and have to buy again. if u guys want to try can go ahead. for my case, i dun think it works.
quote 3: I'm using the patch for the 1st time today! brought it to work and applied it after breakfast in the washroom as no time to do so at home.It is surprisingly very cooling to the skin. I applied 1 patch on the tummy cos I tink target 1 specific area 1st and the tummy is a smaller surface area as compared to the thighs. It is quite sticky. No peeling off in my case. I tink this should be applied on clean skin, without any moisturisers/perspiration.There's a little menthol kinda smell, not significantly obvious unless I lift up my top. Can also feel a very slight amt of heat from the tummy. Will continue to monitor the progress~
quote 4: used the patch too- it oso kept falling off my thighs....cooling sensation but i wonder if it really works.... after using on both my thighs and tummy / or thighs and butt... there was no more.... think it's an expensive investment if you use it for a month.am currently using the clarins body shaping cream- consistent use day and night makes my skin smoother... i like to think it helps my thighs a little... but then again i wonder if i am using an imitation or expired cream- cos i bought 2 samples for $8 at lucky plaza....

quote : i love the clarins body range, especially their total body lift(which is for firming and detoxification) and also their body shaping cream.i apply it on my arms, stomach and thighs religiously everyday, and i can see that my arms got firmer, and i lost around 2cm on e average on each arm. one more product to rave about is their anti-eau oil, which helps to diminish water retention because i always ended up lookin so puffy as i lovee salty food which retents water.

quote: I have tried slimming gel of many brands before I finally decide that FANCL works best for me. A reminder to all who would like to try FANCL, use it within 30 days after opening for best results. Here is what i have experiment with so far:
quote : Bio Essence inch loss: I tried Bio essence before. My sis bought it so I kaypoh "steal" a bit to try. It got a ginger like smell and the scent can linger for quite some time after applying. (Thats how i get caught red handed for trying the gel out without asking..keke) Maybe I too greedy, apply too much.. It has got a sticky feel and some slight burning sensation. It does tighten the tummy area and i guess it is good for firming. I do not like the fragrance though, if not would consider to use it on long term basis. I guess my sis cannot tahan the smell also, it is now left stranded in the cupboard. Half finished.
quote: ZA Wonder Shaper This is one very affordable slimming gel. ZA wonder shaper gel is different from most brands as it offers cool, tingling sensation instead of the warm burning effects we get from most slimming gel that offers to burn fats. I managed to finish one bottle and though not very effective for toning and slimming, but I like the texture of the gel very much. It is light and absorb very easily by the skin and most importantly the scent is not too strong. But the colour of the gel is sort of gross as it is greenish in colour, reminds me of mucus., I usually apply this after shower and like mentioned, it is not very effective but i really like the dewy and moisturising effect it has on my skin. Maybe can use it as a moisturising body lotion.

quote : FANCL Shape, Design and Tone lotion - The Shape, Design and Tone.. Very effective!!! So far for 3 months, i have used up 6 bottles. I apply it day and night after shower. Very absorbent and not greasy. And it helps to tone up all area, including sturborn fats around thigh and butt. Can feel my arms become smaller..Would say, it reduces scretch marks as well. Highly recommended! Of coz, diet and exercise play an important role lor.. dun expect to apply and next day become super slim... These gel and cream act as a supplementary to your diet plan..
quote : Nope.. No burning sensation for Fancl. Erm.. it is so light that you can barely feel anything.. but after a month, you can really see the diff. It rinse off easily from your hands as well. Very safe to put on contact lenses after applying. Keke.. I have tried the WHO chilli gel i bought from SASA.. Applied once only and i was badly traumatised.. I squeeze about a fifty cent coin from the tube and rub it on my tummy and arms area after a warm shower. Supposedly our pores are open after shower and this is the best time to apply lotion or slimming gel for the skin to absorb easily. Initially i dun feel anything and thought I did not apply enough.. but minutes later... I feel really hot and the burning sensation penetrate into my skin and basically, I was jumping around the whole house in trance! I cannot keep still with all the burning going on my skin! Had to keep jumping in front of the fan in an air con room to bring the heat down. Even went to take a cold water shower but that doesn't help...In the end have to apply aloe vera gel to cool down and my skin becomes red and patchy. Not sure if it really works if I were to use it for long term.. But guess the chilli gel works by making you jump around to burn fats
quote : Fancl Shape, Design and tone lotion: A pity to say, i brought this but onli used once I feel is quite sticky as compared to the rest of the body products which i have tried before. Needless to say, i threw away 2 bottles after 2 mths which i onli used once. I wld advise podders here to start using this day and nite after opening as you know Fancl products will expire v fast once opened thus if u don wana waste ur $, then u have to be more hardworking when applying lo.

the smell of the cream is very strong like feng you..
and it is very hot .. apply with some item
quote : i've tried the dr johnson's 5day hot&cold gel. Sadly i only used it for 3 days. Coz the burning sensation is simply unbearable. I'm not refering to my body..its my hands! even though i used a spoon to apply, my hands will accidentally touches d rest of my body n there will be some lotion on it...then it will start 'burning' my hands..too painful.now changed to Clarins..wonder if its good. It smells nice..and no burning sensation.
quote : i used the dr johnson 5 days , and my fren told me i slimmed down, so happy!i just use for like 5 days and only apply once a night, and 3 ppl told me i look slimmer gonna purchase again!btw , it smells really strong BUT apply before you sleep should be ok cause my sleeping time not really regular, i apply 6-8 hrs before i wake up in the next morning, its really hot, sometimes apply too near to that "senstive" part and really feel like banging the wall.
quote : I bought 2 types. One is the 5 days Hot Gel and the other type is promoted by them, a 3-in-1 slimming gel, also has anti-cellulite and anti-wrinkle skin. After I bought them, I gave the 3-in-1 gel a try 1st. Applied on my stomach, tighs and arms. Din have any feeling. Used in on my bf, he also got no feeling.Next day, I tried the Hot Gel. I applied some, no feeling. So i applied more. Also on my stomach, tighs and arms. Then I got a burning feeling. Feels good. Then I head to the gym to run. The burning feeling lasted very long. After abt 30mins, the burning sensation got stronger. After I headed home, the burning sensation got so strong that I cant take it. Headed for a shower to cool it down. Still, the burning feeling still stays. But got abit better.I realize something. After u applied the Hot Gel, it takes a while for ur skin to absorb then u will have the burning sensation. After that, thout u nv feel the burning sensation, u will get back the burning feeling when u sweat or ur body comes into contact with hot things. eg, I sat on the car seat which was under the sun for sun time, then my tighs start to burn again.I would recommend the Hot Gel, thou havnt see any effect yet. Just start using mah. Will update later on any progress.

quote : Update on Dr Johnson 5Day Slimming Lotion:-My hubby find that my cellulite is gone!!! Thigh seems to be more tone and slim down quite a fair bit. It is very effective, i only use it for 1 week. I think i will continue to use. I usually only bath at night. I only apply the gel at night. Guess what by 3pm after i still can feel the burning sensation at my inner thigh (I also apply to my inner thigh the night before). So i only use once per day to. Just note of the side effect. Do not use bare hand to apply the cream, cos i did not wash my hand properly, next day i can feel very painful at my joint near my hand (Like feng1 shi1) and my hands become super sensitive to aircon areas (Like everywhere in the office i feel very cold). My hubby also tried, he seems okay leh. I have stopped for 2 days, tonight will use it again. Will buy gloves tomorrow.Just be careful about the side effect.Few changes to my daily life:-1) I tried new eating diet Beakfast - Alot of Fried mee hoon with Fish cake and fish fillet + thick coffee O with less sugarLunch - Porridge with 1 meat, 2 veggies + water melon+ thick coffee O with less sugarDinner - Lean meat porridge, sometimes with century egg (When hubby not in town, Mon-wed). When he is around i eat more stuff. But lots of lots of water is a must. Last time i used to eat alot of malay food, now i eat only chinese food. Chinese have this saying, morning must have full breakfast, lunch must have more nutient and dinner eat less.
-------------------------
quote : Shisedo Body Creator: Highly recommend this I used this religiously everyday without fail after birth and my tights, arms and tummy slim down a lot and i was able to wear my Levis jeans size 24 within a mth. It has a very cooling sensation, hmm a bit minty but still able to take it, most importantly is NOT STICKY.
quote : Dr Johnson Hot Gel: My sister was the one that brought this and i only try once. Basically, i cant stand the smell . The moment after applying this, you better don go out coz the smell was so strong that even my SO cant stand it (it smell like those medicated plaster that our grandma wld use to stick for their backache). As wat most of the podders mentioned here, the burning sensation will occur after a while. I felt reali uncomfortable and i almost cant stand the hot burning those areas which i have applied. I even went to wash away with water but couldnt help at all Donno whether it works but i wont use again coz my tolerance for the burning sensation is ZERO.
quote : Biotherm Abdochoc: Non sticky and minty feel after applying. Felt that is good for those ppl with more water retention on the tummy coz after 30 mins when i applied this, i will go to the toilet to pass out a lot of water. Tummy was toned and firm after using this for a mth.
quote : Biotherm Cellulizone: Leave my skin reali soft and smooth. No burning or minty sensation for me. This one can be comparable with Shisedo Body Creator in terms of results but i still prefer the texture for Shisedo.
--------------------------
quote : I'm using the Bioessence Celebrity Inchloss Body Scrub and Cream. I don't use the scrub everyday but i've been applying the cream religiously for two weeks now. It's really super hot! I don't think there's such a thing as slapping on a lotion and slimming down just like that. Think they should be used with exercise for the best results. I do cardio for 45 mins to an hour everyday after I rub on the cream. So far, it's been really good. My waist is definitely smaller as all my bottoms are looser, and my "wings" (the flapping stuff under the arms, haha) have reduced quite a bit. My stretch marks also look lighter.Exercise + Bioessence Celebrity Inchloss = lost 1.5kg in 2 weeks! =D I'm not too fat or too thin, so the weight loss is a big bonus. I think Bioessence is having a promo... the shower scrub and the cream is selling for ard $50. Non promo price is $48 for the slimming cream alone.I've tried Biotherm AbdoChoc and the chilli gel from Sasa as well... both dun work for me, I've gotta say Celebrity Inchloss is the most effective by far, but Biotherm's smells the nicest.
=====================
Quote : Tried both....and personally i think the gels acts more to smooth out the skin rather than slimming...i normally apply them after shower, and preference will be given to Clarins as it smooths out my disgusting cellulite quite well, of cuz u must be using it very religiously, massaging it in properly...clarins actually have a little manual on the massage techniques in the box, but i find it hard to follow cuz they seem to be so chim and tiring to exceute ...so i jsut massage the normal way lor...
for biotherm...same effect , just smoothed out the cellulite but the results not as impressive as clarins one...now me going to try dr johnson cuz its a cheaper alternative! not so taxing on my wallet! if the effect is not good, than i will buy clarins again...
--------------------------------------
Yes, you can use together with OTO or UZAP or any slimming belt.Don't use immediately cause i scared may be too hot for you, maybe you used after it cool off a bit. That is what i does with my slimming belt. You apply the gel, then put on the pyjamas then use the slimming belt so it won't stain your belt but it may stain yr pyjamas. Another good way to apply the gel, use those transparent kitchen wrap to wrap around yr waist. Then you put on the slimming belt so it won't stain you and you can easily see & felt if you "sweat".

How to stop our darling from Thumb sucking
Hi ,
I heard you must first how what he/she most fear about and use it to stop them from sucking thumb.
Someone successfully using plaster in the day time and during night time, i put on socks on both her hands. initially she is very cranky, we have to stay firm. my girl took about coming to 2 weeks to stop this habit. hope this method will help on your babies too.
another rub a bit Chilli sauce {alternate bought the nail bite lotion} (the McD or BK pkt) on child's fingers. Whichever finger caught in her mouth, the finger(s) kanna a bit chilli then I purposely 'help' her put that finger(s) back into her mouth. c her red eye, I give water to extiinguish fire. Y I use this method? Hand Foot n Mouth alert! Afraid she get virus so must make sure she don't put fingers into her mouth n get sick. child doesn't understand what's right or wrong nor simple instruction.the child has a small 60ml bottle with small teat (S or X) to temporarily stop her craving for fingers or pacifier. Problem solved! Came back once when she had fits (sort of forgot/memory back tracked) - I used Chilli sauce to remind her. Works for me.
hi .... dont know this will help or not... for those whose babies can understand liao... u can try telling them the problem if they continue to thumb-suck, keep repeating it once u see them sucking their thumb, worst to worst show them pictures of children who suck their thumb and have problem with the alightment of the front teeth. prolong thumb sucking can cause open-bite of the anterior(front) teeth, that means the children will have difficulty biting food using their front teeth cause the upper n lower front teeth dont meet each other.
quote: Hi everyone, just read this thread and thought I would revive it. I just managed to successfully stop my kid (3.5 Yrs) from thumb/finger sucking and he's been great for more than 1 month already. Previously I tried nail bite lotion etc but he got immuned to the nail bite lotion even! So About one month ago, I put a pair of his clean socks over his hands before he went to sleep and taped them around his wrists over the socks using surgical tape (very gentle made of cloth like material but still quite strong). I explained to him that he is a big boy and he really has to kick the habit. There were some tears but not too many (cos I think he knows we've been tyring to get him to stop for a long time already) I also stuck up on the wall a chart titled MY STOP SUCKING STARS and let him paste up a gold star for each day he successfully did not suck for both nap and nighttime. When he collected 10 stars, I let him choose a small toy from Toysrus. Also encouraged and praised him every morning. Was very firm with him. Stuck to my guns even when he cried but he always stopped after awhile. Found this to work very well. So far so good for more than a month already. Good luck everyone.
quote: Hi all, My son is 3yrs old is also a super thumb sucker. Callus already form on his left thumb. We tried the plaster method but it didn't work out cos he knows how to take it off. Thinking of getting the lotion too but wonder if it works. The lotion cost about $12 from Guardian. Will try momof3 "My stop sucking stars" chart method. When i tell him about getting him a toy if he manages to get 10 stars, he seems half understood like that. Will also try the sock/mitten method, just scared that he will take it out by himself. Wish me luck!

Sex of baby (interesting information)
Choice of a baby BOY or GIRL Hope it is useful for some of you in planning stage.
For those of you do not have any plan in the near future, you can keep it for future reference.
Background: Man's sperm consists of X & Y spermatozoa, X spermatozoon decides the female whereas Y is the male.
Referring to these physiological properties of the spermatozoa, gynecologists set up the theory of Choice of a girl or a boy?.
1st factor: Food
If you want a baby girl: Husband must eat more alkaline food, wife eats more acidic food.
If you want a baby boy: Husband eats more acidic food, wife eats more alkaline food.
Alkaline food: vegetables, fruits, egg white, milk, algae, etc. Acidic food: meat, seafood, etc.
2nd factor: Timing (When to do it?)
If you want a baby girl: Frequent copulation during pre-ovulation period.
If you want a baby boy: Copulating just before ovulation or just after ovulation.
How to confirm ovulation period: Body temperature increases (you may want to use SPC chart to monitor your body temperature here).
3rd factor: Penetration (How to do it?)
If you want a baby girl: Husband to avoid deep penetration in the female vagina during copulation.
If you want a baby boy: Deep penetration by the husband is suggested. Reasoning: Characteristics of X & Y spermatozoa - X: Marathon runner with good stamina - Y: Sprinter but poor stamina So, with deep penetration, the chances for Y to reach destination will be higher.
4th factor: Stimulation
If you want a baby girl: Wife should avoid stimulation during copulation. Secretion from female vagina becomes alkaline when stimulated, therefore this promotes the activity of Y spermatozoon.
If you want a baby boy: Husband ejaculates after wife has been stimulated. 5th factor: Wife?s Preparation If you want a baby girl: Rinse the vagina with solution dissolving 2 spoonfuls of white vinegar in 1 liter of water. Since an acidic condition decreases activity of Y spermatozoon.
If you want a baby boy: Rinse the vagina with solution dissolving 2 spoonfuls of soda in 1 liter of water.
6th factor: Positioning
If you want a baby girl: Female to be on the top position & male to be on the bottom position. If you want a baby boy: Male to be on the top position & female to be on the bottom position. This posture allows the Y spermatozoon to reach the destination faster.

Quote: hi all mums to be, Juz wanna share with you my experience with this frendly Malay lady, Mdm Nadia since I benefit from the recommendations in this forum. I have a c-sect and start my massage on the 3rd week. I started early coz very concern about my figure as I want to look good during my baby shower. (But of coz u must feel comfortable as well) Overall experience is good, she's friendly, careful and will not hesitate to go extra mile to answer and help in whatever ways she can. Although she says her duration last an hour but my massage with her always last at least 2 hours. She never fail to msg me if she's going to be late or early. And her post natal are done continous for 7days so that mums like us will be able to slim down and see the results. Her charges are reasonable as well and willing to travel to your place, as far as I know she's only accepting post natal massage during the puasa. Just want to clarify that I am not related to her but just want to share with all the mums in need to get back to shape coz I did. My frenz are amazed how I manage to slim back so fast.

I also sign up for 7 sessionAfter 1st session, lots of blood clots were dispelled. After 2nd and 3rd session, I kept farting, all the air came upBut the end of the 2 week after delivery, I was back in my figure hugging dress ;)

Hi I heard about infant care training at Thomas Medical Centre.
The class will only run if there is a group as it is more economical and the maids learn more. its quite cheap but important i think...per maid is $100-150...trained by consultant at TMC ..
All aspects of taking care of ur baby...!
Details:Infantcare Training ProgrammeAt TMC, we believe that maids or caregivers should be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary in providing care for the baby. This would increase their confidence in looking after the baby and also serve to increase the confidence of the parents in entrusting the newborn to their care.
The program covers feeding baby, bathing baby, diaper changing, bowel movement of baby, handling and holding baby, management of crying baby and more.
For more information, please call our Thomson ParentCraft at 6251 4090.

quote: I got my from Gold Year, Balestier Ruby Plaza. Tel:62547366 Before that I went to other agencies and they were nice also ... Just that the agent Ms Tan in Gold Year was more attentive. She would interact personally to the maids and fill me in extra info about the maids so I can make a better choice. The other agencies I went had a lot of biodatas for me which is simply not as good as someone who had talked to the maids before and know their mentality. In case any of you gers are going, got complimented her services ok? Cheers!
quote: i got my domestic helper from Kovan hut the agency name is Hung Chau (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Mine is Indo maid she's a transfer maid and i'm the 3rd employer. Cos the 1st employer ill-treated her my maid work wif them for 2 mths den she discont as for the 2nd employer she had to look after elderly and the elderly pass away aft my maid had been 6 mths with them den transfer to my side. Their service is very good and i dun need to put so much upfront oso. We oso can chose the package. They got two package 1 is for $388 and the other 1 is for $288, forgotten wat the package is but could go down and ask. My Indo maid althought she never look after BB at all but she's very very patience with my 8mths old gal and she's willing to learn. And my gal is oso willing to follow her too.But i think it's all luck. Look for Ms Ti Ti or Ms Dasiy. Thank you.

this is why i want my Blog to have all the require information.
Quote "Cost of levy + maid salary + food + medical costs.
Even if you are so lucky that your maid is so healthy that she never falls sick in the 2 years of your her contract, there is this 6 monthly compulsory check up.
I estimate the cost of my maid at $170 (levy) + $320 (salary) + $300 (food)+ $200 (outings and medical costs) = $1000.
This may be higher than actual cost as like I say, medical and outings are not that frequent, but this is what I budgeted. "
===============================================================
quote" Mine is a Philliphino maid.Salary $320 + Levy $170 = $490, food is avg $70I would say per mth fix cost is $560.For yearly, $50 check up (6mths once) plus I'll give her $50 as compliment for her hard works.
================================================================
Quote" indo maid$200 - Levy, $300 - Salary, $200 - Food (Total: $700)
I think food expenses is budgeted.. Like mine.. my maid one day 2meals lunch tabao from coffee shop dinner eat maggi mee..
sometimes both meal tabao from coffee shop.. so sometimes i spent less den $200..
comments: Never leave your maid alone with your baby because you will never know what they do.. so its always advisable that have someone at home with maid.. or prob u can leave her at parents or in law house while u out to work..
==================================================================
The levy rate have changed from 01July... I just got my maid for 2 weeks and I estimate her cost is:$170 (levy) + $350 (salary) + $150 (food)

Hello parents in Singapore -write to me (babynico@gmail.com- place subject as hospital charges or anything you want to share)
It will be great if you can share with all the new parents on your hospitalization Bills.A lot of us are unsure what is the hidden cost or how much we need to folk out for a new born. The amount is not cheap..
I have my daughter in the year 2004. I have gone through normal delivery but last minute c-section as baby was stuck. The hospital bills are huge for a new couple like us without much saving.. plus we just receive new flat.. few thousand is really not small...
Plus i was surprise.. after my husband folking out a few thousand, my Mil who is helping on the month actually ask for a huge angbow.. For someone like me i dont have much cash at all.. i was astonish.. because i thought your loveone will understand your difficulties on tight cash flow.. i was so disappointed..
I have made a decision to be prepared the next time.
I would like to highlight to all new parents on what are the expectation, expenses and where to source for cheap and available necessary items.
I have just started my blog.. i need quite a while for all the things to be working..
Not even sure if i can add pages to this.. haha
My plans is to have
1) a list on all the hospital charges.. best to have some actual quote from friends.
2) a list of necessary items for mother and newborn baby
3) what to expect for a newborn
4) List of Gynae, comments... etc
5) some common question and answer
6) website to source for cheaper products
7) any information for parents of toddlers..
(this is because recently we experience problem with my daughter having stomach flu .. in the middle of the night , we are unsure about whether to gave her milk or water..)
8) spree on US sites LIke old navy, gap, gymboree
Rgds
